We are a small photography company and care deeply for each school and child that we work with. We only serve a select number of schools each year in order to give our absolute best to each school that we work with.
We have eliminated order forms, trendy backdrops, and stiff posing from our process. Everything is designed to be simple, beautiful, and efficient.

What services do you offer?
We operate a simple process that is almost entirely online. Each gallery is organized by homeroom, grade, or whatever works best for your school. Every student will have their own personal online ordering gallery. We spend up to 5 minutes per student which will produce 2-5 images presented in color and black and white. Each family chooses which pose they would like to have printed. The family is able to purchase digital images or boutique quality print products. Orders are made online by the parents and delivered to the school within 4 weeks of picture day. We offer both a la carte and package options. Our product pricing is highly competitive.
We will provide a all communications to the school, for the families, outlining picture day preparation and ordering procedures. BHP will handle any questions from the parents regarding ordering and products.
We provide all equipment and personnel needed for picture day. We do like to have one volunteer from the school to organize children and provide familiarity for the children’s comfort. We use a black background for all photos for a timeless, clean look. We use natural light, rather than flash photography, which is great for students and staff who have light sensitivities.
We provide the school with high-resolution files for however the school would like to use the images.
We will take staff and class portraits depending on the school’s needs.
We are able to work with schools to provide customized services.
How Many Students Can You Accomodate?
Our systems work for all school sizes. The average school size that we work with is 200-500 children, ages 0-18.
What time of year do you conduct these photos?
These picture days may be scheduled any time of year, spring and fall are most popular.
What does this cost the school?
There is no cost to the school and no upfront cost to the parents. All of our profits are made from orders. We donate 10% of our sales profits back to the schools that we photograph.
What are the benefits to the school?
Aside from the 10% that is donated back, by choosing this boutique experience, your school is providing affordable access to high quality children’s portraits to the families that choose your school. This aids in retention of your students from year to year and families will rave about how awesome the perks are of being with your school (free marketing for you).
This is a Spokane local, mother-owned business (unusual in this section of the industry). Britt offers a mother’s touch to the experience. The approach is welcoming to all children (no scary photographer experiences here). Britt has been in this profession for over a decade, whereas the big box companies may have hired their photographer last Friday, an experienced photographer makes a difference.
Are these images expensive?
Our rates are highly competitive. We offer a variety of collections and a la carte products to fit everyone’s needs. Many families walk away with great picture products for less than the cost of a pizza. We provide price sheets to schools that inquire.
Do you offer class photos?
We do offer class photos. Depending on the school’s size, we take them on picture day or we can arrange a separate day to take class photos.
How do I bring these photos to my school?

Hi, I’m Britt Harvey!
I am a family and school photographer in Spokane, Wa. I am a wife and mother. I have over a decade of photography experience, working with hundreds of children each year. I pride myself on providing a fun, laid-back, accepting and wholesome photography experience to everyone that chooses me as their photographer.
I am currently the only photographer in Spokane offering this boutique school photography experience, I believe that school photography can be so much more than what we’ve come to tolerate from the big box companies. Every child deserves to be photographed flatteringly and be truly seen.
